Important details
The curb is a handoff point, not a waiting area
CLT allows immediate pickup and drop-off but prohibits unattended vehicles. Wait in the Cell Phone Lot or park in the Hourly Deck if the traveler is not ready.
Choose a level deliberately
Private pickup normally uses lower-level Arrivals after baggage claim, while ride apps use upper-level inner lanes. CLT also names upper-level private pickup as a congestion-avoidance alternative.
