A friend or family member is driving
Private-car pickup
- Traveler
- From baggage claim on Level 5, take an elevator or escalator down to Level 4 on the east or west side.
- Driver
- Wait at Final Approach until the traveler is ready, then head to the Level 4 pickup area.
Uber or Lyft
Ride-app pickup
- Traveler
- After baggage claim, go to Level 5 and use the designated crosswalk to Island 5 on either terminal side.
- Driver
- Use Island 5; the passenger should request the ride after baggage claim or once they reach Level 5.
A taxi is the better fit
Taxi pickup
- Traveler
- Go to Level 5, Island 1. Use the listed east- or west-side doors nearest your baggage claim side.
- Driver
- Taxi pickup operates from Island 1, not the family-and-friends Level 4 pickup area.
A limousine is collecting the traveler
Luxury limousine pickup
- Traveler
- Go to Level 5, Island 2, and use one of DEN’s designated east- or west-side doors.
- Driver
- Luxury limousine pickup uses Island 2 rather than the Level 4 family pickup area.

Important details
Family pickup and commercial pickup use different levels
Confirm both the terminal side and pickup level: private vehicles use Level 4; commercial pickups use Level 5.
The terminal is the airport’s central meeting point
Concourses A, B, and C are beyond security. Agree on a meeting point at Jeppesen Terminal rather than an arrival gate.
