- Call only after you are at the agreed Arrivals-level terminal exit.
- Driver
- Wait in the free Cell Phone Waiting Area, then follow airport signs for Arrivals when the traveler is ready.
The pickup needs extra time
Park and meet inside
- Traveler
- Share the terminal before the driver chooses a garage.
- Driver
- Use Cypress, Hibiscus, or Palm Garage rather than circling the roadway for a longer meetup.
The traveler is using Terminal 1
Terminal 1 valet meetup

- Confirm whether the driver is using the west-end Departures valet location or the Arrivals curb.
- Driver
- Terminal 1 valet is on the west end of the Departures Level; do not confuse it with an Arrivals curb pickup.
The traveler is returning a rental car
Rental Car Center coordination

- Send the Rental Car Center status before selecting a terminal pickup point.
- Driver
- The Rental Car Center is at the first building on the left on the airport approach, so agree whether to meet there or at a terminal.

Important details
The Cell Phone Waiting Area is the default waiting plan
It is free and near Arrivals, while terminal garages are the better choice when a driver needs to park for a longer meetup.
Terminal-specific valet is not a general pickup rule
FLL lists different west-end Departures-level valet locations for Terminals 1 and 4. Confirm the terminal before routing there.
