Wait at a Post Road Cell Phone Lot rather than circle, then make the active curb pickup.

Follow signs into the left lane of the upper Departures loop and then the FLEX Lane.

A Terminal 2 pickup needs shelter

Use the Purple Ramp Level 2 Express area instead of waiting on the roadway.

MSP-SPECIFIC DETAILS

Important details

MSP gives each terminal a different backup pickup option

Terminal 1 offers the FLEX Lane, while Terminal 2 has the Purple Ramp Express area. These are useful when a straightforward curb meetup is not working.

Post Road is the waiting reference point

The two Cell Phone Lots sit between the terminals on Post Road. Confirm which terminal the traveler is leaving before the driver exits the lot.
